Elder Affairs

The Rockport Police Department has always strived to protect the senior citizens of Rockport through law enforcement, education, support programs, and referral to and working with other senior protective organizations.

In 2012 retired police officer Roger Lesch was appointed by the Board of Selectmen as Special Officer for Elder Affairs. Special Officer Lesch, with the support of Chief John Horvath and the entire Rockport Police Department, continues to enhance our commitment to Rockport’s seniors. In 2017 his title changed to Elder Affairs Coordinator.
