The Emergency Team is located at the Rockport Police Station at 168 Main Street and includes Emergency Management Director Lt. Mark W. Schmink and Deputy Director Officer Daniel J. Mahoney. TheTeam coordinates and notifies the public of significant and critical events.
The Town has a 'reverse 911' "code red" notification system for residents a in the event of a natural or manmade disaster. To sign up to receive Code Red Alerts, you may do so on the home page of the website on the left sidebar; this allows the notifications/instructions to be sent directly to your phone either by voice or text.
