Food

The Board of Health's Food Inspector conducts regular inspections, reviews plans, and responds to complaints of retail food establishments to ensure safety in the preparation, storing, and serving food to the public.

Retail Food Regulations - Important to Note:  Rockport has adopted the 2013* Federal Food Code effective January 1, 2017.   Please call the Food Inspector for any questions, clarification, or information about how this will affect your Food Establishment.  As well, any employees/staff whose ServSafe Certification expires soon will need to be trained on the 2013 Federal Food Code.
